MINIMUM CARE SERVICES

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME

This charge includes transfer of remains to the mortuary, basic services of the funeral director and staff, specialized care for shipping and embalming. Charges for merchandise selected and transportation to airport is additional.

RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME

This charge includes basic services of the funeral director and staff, care of the deceased, and transportation of the deceased to the cemetery without scheduled ceremony. Charges for merchandise selected and transportation from airport is additional.

DIRECT CREMATION AVAILABLE

Our charge for direct cremation, without ceremony, includes cremation, transfer of the remains to our facility, basic services of the funeral director and staff, and industry specific alternative container. If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard. The cremations are limited to 300 lbs.

VETERANS DIRECT CREMATION

Our charge for direct cremation, without ceremony, includes cremation, transfer of the remains to our facility, basic services of the funeral director and staff, and industry specific alternative container. If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. IMMEDIATE BURIAL AVAILABLE

Our charge for immediate burial includes transfer of the remains to our facility, basic services of the funeral director and staff, and delivery to the cemetery without viewing, visitation or ceremony.

Prior to drafting any contract for goods and services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral items you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you specifically did not ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide you describing the funeral goods and services you selected. Please note that there may be additional charges for items such as cemetery fees, flowers, and newspaper notices.

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR

Basic services, not to be included in the prices of other categories that are furnished by the funeral provider in arranging any funeral, such as conducting the arrangements, conference, planning the funeral, obtaining the necessary permits and placing obituary notices. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)

EMBALMING

Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary however, If you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for embalming, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

OTHER PREPARATIONS OF THE BODY

REFRIGERATION ($50.00 a day after 7 days)

Colorado law requires the deceased to be embalmed or refrigerated within 24 hours if the final disposition will not be within 24 hours following death. It is our policy to utilize isolated and uninterrupted refrigeration while in our care.
